Project Overview

Pawfect Pets is a playful and vibrant pet food brand focused on delivering high-quality, wholesome treats for dogs. The challenge was to create a bold and approachable visual identity that would resonate with both pet owners and retail buyers in a crowded, competitive market. The brand needed to feel trustworthy, energetic, and full of personality—just like our furry friends.

My Role

I led the creative direction and design execution of the brand, which included:

Logo development
Brand colour palette and typography
Design of three treat packages for distinct dog treat flavors
Visual storytelling across the brand touchpoints

The Problem

Pet food aisles are saturated with packaging that either leans too clinical or overly childish. The goal with Pawfect Pets was to strike the perfect balance, creating a brand that feels premium but accessible, fun but credible. The client needed a visual identity that could stand out on the shelf while communicating product quality, pet happiness, and brand trust.

My Approach

To bring this brand to life, I focused on developing a cheerful and cohesive identity that would appeal to dog lovers of all kinds.

Logo & Colors

I created a playful and expressive logo that evokes friendliness and warmth, using a color palette designed to feel fresh and energetic:

Teal #0f5754 for reliability and calm
Mint #c5d7bd for a soft, friendly tone
Tangerine #ea591a to bring boldness and appetite appeal
Lemon Yellow #f0eb59 for energy and optimism

Packaging Design

I designed three treat packages under the “Chunky Chompers” line, each with a unique flavour and visual theme:

Peanut Paw Cookie
Beefy Berry Crunch
Chicken Cloud Bites

Each package features bold illustrations, playful typography, and consistent brand elements to make the line feel unified but still distinctive. I paid close attention to layout, hierarchy, and visual balance to ensure that key product information is easy to read while still keeping the design fun and eye-catching.

The Solution

Through a well-researched and intentional design process, I developed a cohesive branding system that helps Pawfect Pets stand out on shelves and connect emotionally with pet parents. The final result is a brand that feels bold, caring, and memorable—setting the foundation for strong customer recognition and future product expansion.
